What are you going to watch this weekend? (June 17 edition)

Happy Thursday!

It’s time to ask the eternal question: What are you watching this weekend?

Consider this the equivalent of hanging up a "GONE FISHIN'" sign on the ol' newsletter's doors, because I'm heading into the wilderness to see friends and the ocean and maybe some bears. I'm hoping to do the coastal hike near Wedding Rock up in far northern California and then also hang out with friends who live up there. And, hopefully, I won't be watching any TV or movies.

Except...

My friends and I have been watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine at the rate of roughly an episode per day since November. We are finally right up to the end, and we'll be watching the two-part finale on Saturday, then probably checking out the documentary about the making of the series later in the month. Deep Space Nine is my favorite Trek, and I've been so enjoying catching up on it. I'm going to miss my space pals.
