Ask Emily Anything (about writing novels)

Hey, everyone!

The publication of my first novel, Woodworking, is happening in just 15 days as I publish this! (You can buy it here.) It's been a surreal process to go from having a weird little idea to a book that is coming out imminently.

I know at least some of my readers are wannabe writers and/or people who are curious about reading, writing, publishing, or other things that involve words. So maybe you have a question about that whole experience! Well, here's your chance to ask! I'm publishing a special edition of the newsletter this Thursday that will be all answers to reader-submitted questions about writing and publishing. I'm happy to answer even the most basic of questions because when I started doing this, I didn't have the slightest idea either.
